Overview of <Dimension Finder> series

<Dimension Finder> work series can be classified into three small titles.

<Dimension Finder> is not a just realistic photo, and a little bit surrealistic. For this, I used straight photo and digital composition both.

Since Joseph Nicéphore Niépce first invented the photograph, the conception of human beings has been upgraded one more dimension. However, the fixed photo can only suggest us very limited contents. It only can show us the surface of the reality, anyway. <Dimension Finder> photo series find and take the scenes that we cannot see in our daily life or show us we only imagine. It awakes us a desire to find out the real meaning of the elements that are not in real space. This desire causes the curiosity and the curiosity results the imagination, and eventually, it comes forward to the truth.

3. Pixel type

[Pixel type] shows that the current society co-exists with the cyber space. The pixel avatar that can be found in my photos is our incarnation in the cyber space. There is another world that the pixel avatar lives. Then, is the area of the world only a physical size? Through [Pixel type], I tried to show another cyber space, which has the same size of the real world. As cyborg said at Japanimation <Ghost in the Shell>, the net is vast.
