I can still remember the shock when I read <FLATLAND: A Romance of Many Dimensions> of English Schoolmaster, Edwin A. Abbott, at first. I seriously thought about dimensions because the book describing two dimensions and three dimensions world gave a lot of effects to me. High level dimension is amazing because we can’t understand it and we can’t see it although it is displayed in front of us. While I majored in Metal Craft & Art when I was a university student, I studied how to express high level dimensional world under the condition of three dimensions. With surrealism concept, I reinforced my expression, which is not sufficient with main factors of formative arts such as change, coordination and balance. After discovering the value of photography as a proper expression tool for multi-dimensions, I entered the graduate school of photography. As a result of master’s degree study, I completed the essay, <A Study on Human’s Thinking Expansion through Multi-dimensional Photography Expressed with Digital Technique>. However, I am still ongoing the study on dimensions. My thought is developing toward the interest in internet that divides the world into virtual space an actual space. What digital media is mixed with analog fine art and reborn as an artwork is special like the combination of machine and living creature.
